Who we are
About GVTF
Global Vision Trust Fund (GVTF) is a registered non-governmental organization committed to humanitarian service. GVTF was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on December 7, 2018 (CAC/IT/NO 63357). Since then, we have remained steadfast in our mission to improve the lives of vulnerable children, widows, women, and youth across Nigeria.
Our efforts focus on targeted interventions in critical areas including health, education, women and youth empowerment, gender-based violence prevention, child protection, humanitarian response, and civic engagement. We maintain full compliance with national regulations while aligning our operations with international best practices.
GVTF's work complements the strategic goals of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in promoting gender equality and protecting women and girls from violence; the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in supporting vulnerable populations through community-based social services; and the Federal Ministry of Education in promoting inclusive access to education, particularly through our Back-to-School and girl-child education initiatives.
GVTF is guided by a capable and experienced Board of Trustees who provide strategic oversight and governance, ensuring our interventions are delivered with transparency, accountability, and impact. We are proud to be affiliated with civil society networks including the Child Protection Network (CPN) and the Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse, and Labour (NACTAL).
Vision
GVTF envisions a world where children, women, and youth live free from abuse, violence, and poverty, working through bold action in child protection, education, healthcare, GBV prevention, and economic empowerment. By building strong partnerships and managing resources with integrity, we create lasting change and resilient communities.
Mission
GVTF advances the rights, safety, and well-being of women, children, and youth by addressing root causes of vulnerability and inequality — preventing gender-based violence, combating child abuse and trafficking, reducing health disparities, and promoting inclusive quality education, guided by human rights, gender equality, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Aims
- Empower women and children through access to quality education, skills development, and economic opportunities that promote self-reliance and personal growth.
- Advance social justice and equity by amplifying the voices of marginalized groups and raising awareness of the systemic challenges faced by vulnerable populations.
- Improve access to healthcare services in underserved and rural communities by supporting the establishment of clinics and mobile outreach programs.
- Prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV) through advocacy, survivor-centered support services, legal aid, and community-based prevention strategies.
- Strengthen community resilience and support systems by fostering inclusive partnerships and mobilizing stakeholders to protect and promote the rights of women and children.
Objectives
- Design and implement inclusive educational programs on human rights, gender equality, reproductive health, and child protection for women, youth, and communities.
- Conduct public awareness campaigns to address gender-based violence, child abuse, and harmful practices using multimedia platforms, schools, and grassroots outreach.
- Facilitate capacity-building workshops that equip women and youth with leadership, advocacy, vocational, and life skills to enhance their active participation in society.
- Establish psychosocial and legal support networks for survivors of GBV and child abuse, in collaboration with local service providers, CSOs, and government agencies.
- Advocate for policy reforms and implementation that uphold the rights and welfare of women and children, using research, data, and stakeholder engagement to inform decision-making.

A word from our Founder
It is with great honour and a deep sense of purpose that I welcome you on behalf of the Global Vision Trust Fund (GVTF). Since our founding in 2018, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities across Nigeria — especially children, women, widows, and youth — through targeted, life-transforming interventions.
At GVTF, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, access quality education, receive proper healthcare, and be protected from abuse and exploitation. This belief drives our work in health outreach, child protection, psychosocial support, economic empowerment, and community advocacy. Our approach is collaborative, community-driven, and rooted in compassion and accountability.
In line with the priorities of the Federal Ministries of Women Affairs, Education, Humanitarian Affairs, and Health, we have strategically positioned ourselves to deliver programs that not only meet immediate needs but also build long-term resilience. Through partnerships with government agencies, local leaders, and civil society networks, we are building stronger systems to protect, empower, and uplift.
